Hi Doctor,

3 weeks till now suffering from red eye and expecting the pinguecula. I had visited the clinic, my doctor gave me the eye drops (NICOL) and an oinment chloramphenicol. Help me. It woudn't cure.

Pinguecula is abnormal benign growth of the conjunctiva. There are many risk factors for it but Ultraviolet rays is the most important one. 

It is not an infection so antibiotics eye drops or ointment won't give any benefits. Sometimes we can give steroid eye drops when there is inflammation. Surgical removal is the definite treatment of Pinguecula.
