I have some discomfort in my left eye; some dust particles which entered the eye have been difficult to get rid of. I applied chloramphenicol and got some relief after sleep, though, temporary.

This is called Pterygium and it is not due to foreign body. You should visit an eye doctor if you still feel a foreign body in your eye.
