Hi,

I recently noticed two small black spots in my one year old daughter's left eye.Has any of your toddler have the same kinda spots and is it something to be worried.I don't have a good eye doctor or a pediatrician here. Please help.

New black spots that your recently noticed should raise the concern about the nature of these spots. Most likely they are conjunctival nevus which is a benign condition and it is not harmful.
 
Things that are against conjunctival nevus are:
 
1- Associated with red eye.
 
2- Eye discharge.
 
3- Pain and itching.
 
4- Increase in size and number.

I would advice you to visit an eye doctor, Not necessary a pediatric ophthalmologist, just to make sure that every thing is ok.
