I put rings in my left eye, and did CXL for both eyes

Hi Doctor,

I have a keratoconous on my left eye.My doctor advised me to put rings and make CXL after that, and I did that before one month ago.  

Now he told me that my astigmatism converted from irregular to regular so we can do epi-lasik, is that correct ?

I heard that if you had keratoconous you could not do any lasik operation

First of all you have to wait at least 9 months after corneal collagen Cross-linking (CXR) before doing any corneal surgery. After CXR, your cornea will stabilize after 9 months.

I don't recommend to do Epi-lasik for your case. Your cornea is weak and you don't want to make it weaker with Epi-lasik. The best thing for you is Phakic intraocular lens implantation ( Toric ICL ).
