Good Evening Doctor,

This is my mother of age 60 years (India). She has been suffering from Dry Eyes problem since 15 years.

Earlier our Eye Doctor suggested "Celluvisc eye drops (Carboxymethyl Cellulose Lubricant drops 1%, Single dose)". Now this product manufacturing is stopped in India last 2 years back.

Up to March 2020, we got from UK and Dubai through online order. Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, we are unable to get the eye drops.

In this connection, I request you to please suggest any alternative Eye Drops for Celluvisc, which are available all over the world. Without these drops, my mother can not open her eyes as the both eyes are totally dried.

There are a lot of eye drops that can be used to treat dry eyes. For example you can use preservative free refresh plus which is also Carboxymethyl Cellulose Lubricant drops. You can also use other types of eye drops such as artelac advance, Systane Ultra UD and preservative free genteal eye drops.
