Question

Hi,

I'm 61 years of age. Had cataract surgery two years ago in the left eye. The cataract was very thick. It was a more extensive eye surgery than the other eye.

The eye surgery in the right eye was done 5 years ago. I have nearsightedness in one eye and the other farsighted.

I don't wear glasses. I only occasionally need glasses for reading. My question is I have double blinks at times.

My doctor said this was normal. I have no pain in eyes.

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

Most likely it is a normal habit and there is no need to worry about it. Sometimes dry eyes can cause that. Using artificial tears can be very helpful.
