Question
Hi,
I wanted to know before moving forward with getting new prescription glasses (to wear when not wearing contacts) whether the change in my prescription is normal.
I found it strange that for my right eye, the sphere decreased from -1.00 to -0.75. Is this possibly because of the change in cylinder and axis for astigmatism?
The prescription for my first two pairs of glasses was sph -1.00 in my right eye and sph -1.25 in my left eye.
Thanks

Thanks for your Question
0.25 D Change in eyeglass prescription is insignificant and it is very common so unless you complain or you notice blurred vision there is no harm from wearing this new eyeglass.
Sometimes dry eyes even mild dry eyes can cause these changes in prescription especially if you are wearing contact lenses which can aggravate dryness.
