Swelling in the left lower eyelid with redness and pain

This is lower eyelid chalazion and this is the acute form of it with pain and redness. You should visit your eye doctor to prescrip eye drops with steroid and antibiotics such as tobradex eye drops to treat this acute form.

After 2-3 weeks, pain and redness with disappear and small mass with be formed and can be treated with surgical removal which is a simple outpatient procedure.
