There are many possible causes of this problem

1- Glaucoma. Intermittent closure glaucoma in which intraocular pressure increases for a while and then returns to the normal range. During this period, patient complains of ocular pain, blurred vision and headache that disappear when the intraocular pressure return to normal. This type of glaucoma can be diagnosed with slit lamp examination in which shallow anterior chamber can be seen.

2- Migraine. Headache that involves half of your head and face and associated with blurred of vision and ocular pain. You should visit your eye doctor to have full ocular examination.
