Dear Dr,

I have a very weak inherited eyesight and I was careless about my eyes health. I noticed my eyesight is getting worse over years,and I don't know what should I do?

My second question is :Is the medicine Luxturna for inherited eye-weakness suitable in my case and efficient for improving my sight?

I don't know what type of inherited eye problem I have. I said I have inherited eye problem because all my family members have eyeglass with different vision, 3 brothers with visions between 5 and 8.5, and a sister that depends on an eye with -3 because the other eye has perhaps -20.

I can see hopefully clearly with my heavy eyeglasses with thick lenses but I can just see for a limited distance because of my weak cornea,

Luxturna is for inherited macular degeneration, Do you have that?

It seems your problem is high myopia and and best thing you can do to get rid of eyeglasses is implantation of intraocular lens.

You can discuss this option with your eye doctor as you have to do multiple diagnostic tests before that.
