Question

Hi,

I was looking for some kind of answer to describe this thing in my eye and I found a similar image similar to what's is in my eye is was something called Ocular Melanoma and also I found Primary Acquired Melanosis but both are described as cancer..

Primary acquired melanosis is more similar to my eye cause it's more like yellow brown.. Can you confirm ?
and what should I do? Is this deadly?

These are the photos it's not very clear though

Answer

Thanks for your Question

This is called Conjunctival primary acquired melanosis and it is not a melanoma. It is not a cancer by itslef but there is a risk factor to develop conjucntival melanoma. There are two types of it PAM with atypia and PAM without atypia. Conjunctival melanoma may arise from PAM with atypia.

Follow up with your eye doctor is very important and if changes occur in this lesion, biopsy should be taken to rule out PAM with atypia.
