Lasik is an elective eye surgery which means that you can do it if you want to get rid of eyeglasses or contact lenses.
 
If you are interested in Lasik eye surgery. you should read about it to know how it works and also to know what to expect.
 
There are certain criteria that you should pass in order to know if lasik surgery is safe for you such Past medical history, ocular examination and corneal topography.
 
You have -13.0 D Myopia which is a high myopia. Lasik can correct up to -15.0 D but in order to correct high myopia, patient should have thick cornea because the higher the power, the more stroma tissue should be removed to correct it.
 
Another Option for high Myopia is Phakic Intraocular lens which require implantation of artificial lens inside the eye.
