Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me. I have ghosting vision which happens mostly when i see white text on a black screen at a short distance.

It happens in both eyes separately (one is worse than the other) and also happens without glasses and contacts and with glasses and contacts. It's been happening for around 6 months. I went to the optometrist who gave me new contacts which haven't worked. 

Just wondering what might be causing this issue as it's rather disrupting.

This double vision or ghost images can be caused by many things and the only way to find out the exact cause is full eye examination with your eye doctor.

Most common causes of double vision are:

1- Imbalance in the movements of eye muscles in both eyes or one eye

2- Dry eyes

3- Irregular astigmatism

4- Neurological Problems

5- Convergence insufficiency
