Hello!

I may have gotten a perm solution in my eye. This morning I woke up with my eye sort of irritated and it felt inflamed.

Last night I washed it and cleaned my eye with cool water for about 30 minutes. I am not experiencing redness. I am wondering if I could possibly have a chemical burn.

What do I need to do? What are the symptoms? When do I need to seek medical care and who should I go to to get my eye's checked?

It is good thing that you irrigate your eye with water for 30 minutes as a first aid for chemical eye burn and i would recommend to visit your eye doctor.

You have to know that irrigation with water can also cause irritation and redness of the eye and you can use lubrication eye drops frequently but  after you visit your eye doctor to make sure nothing is there.
