Hi,

What could be the cause of blurred vision, disappearing text  straight lines being curvy and dark like shadows in my vision?

I exposed my eyes to sunlight 3 weeks ago. Went to a specialist and was told that my retina is a little bit raised and is reddish.

Was advised that this condition will fix itself but i have not seen any change.

Please advice especially the dark shadows that am experiencing

There are many causes of blurred vision with curvy lines such as solar retinopathy or central serous retinopathy and in order to know the exact cause of that I think you doctor should order further tests and imaging for your retina such as O.C.T and Flourescein angiography.

Solar retinopathy needs no treatment, just observation as most of the cases will return to normal after few weeks.
