Hi Doctor,
Female patient that previously operated in the right eye and now she is suffering in the left eye. Sudden spark of light and black floaters.
OCT done for both eyes and her doctor said she needs an intravitreal injection. Is it good for her

She has macuar edema in the left eye and intravitreal injection is very important to treat it butt your doctor should run more tests to now the cause of macular edema which can be caused by Diabetes mellitus, retinal vessels diseases or uveitis such as choroiditis.
Some of the causes of macular edema might required also systemic treatments
